Rijal al Qawiy project is one of the projects that focuses on community service(volunteerism). The target group of this project is school students. There are some objectives of the Rijal al Qawiy project;
This project aims to promote education and knowledge-sharing, which includes mentoring the students to a high level of thinking. Next, the purpose of this project is to empower students to have great skills that can help them survive in the future. Hence, the program that will be conducted focuses on students' skill development, especially communication and leadership skills. Besides, this project also aims to promote Islamic values. The activities that will be conducted uphold Islamic values that will foster a positive impact on the students and shape them into great individuals. Last but not least, the ultimate goal of the project is to produce teenagers(students) who have great determination, passion, and soul.
Apart from that, this project also has an objective for us as a volunteer, which is to share sharing interest in doing charity work. As we know, IIUM upholds the 'Rahmatan lil Alamin' principle. Thus, this project aims to attract someone who is voluntarily or interested in community service, with the purpose of changing society for the betterment. In addition, it gives opportunities to learn and get experience in dealing with the students.
